Definition:
 
1. bush with yellow flowers: a tree or bush that has toothed egg-shaped leaves and blooms in autumn or winter. Flowers: small, yellow with strap-shaped petals. Genus Hamamelis.

2. soothing lotion: a mixture of water, alcohol, and extract from the bark and dried leaves of the witch hazel. Use: astringent, embrocation.
