Cultural Note

Kangaroo, a novel (1923) by the British writer D. H. Lawrence. Inspired by the author's 1922 visit to Australia, it tells the story of a settler and his wife who become reluctantly involved with local political organizations, including a right-wing political group and its charismatic leader, Kangaroo.
