Tiétar Valley, Spain

This beautiful region of Spain is situated on the southern slopes of the Gredos mountain range, on the upper reaches of the Gredos River, which forms a geographical boundary with the province of Toledo. Both irrigated and dry crops are grown here, and the abundant pine trees, oaks, and hollies are characteristic of the natural vegetation of this area.
