Spaghetti Junction, Birmingham

Spaghetti Junction, Birmingham
The Gravelly Hill Interchange (better known as “Spaghetti Junction”) is about 3 km (2 mi) from Birmingham city centre, and is one of the most complex motorway junctions in Europe, with 18 routes on six levels. The city’s central location in England and good communication links with the rest of the country have made Birmingham an important distribution centre and encouraged many firms to base their headquarters in the city.
