Victor Sjöström

The Swedish actor and director Victor Sjöström appeared in more than 60 films. He went to Hollywood in 1923, where he directed such films as The Scarlet Letter (1926) and The Wind. In 1957 he acted in Wild Strawberries (1928, pictured here) under the direction of Ingmar Bergman.
