Warren Beatty

The American actor Warren Beatty made his film début in Splendor in the Grass (1961). Bonnie and Clyde (1967), Shampoo (1975), and Heaven Can Wait (1978) marked Beatty’s transition from performer to star, producer, writer, and director. He won an Academy Award for best director for Reds (1981), in which he also had a starring role.
