State Gallery, Stuttgart
The new wing of Stuttgart’s State Gallery was opened in 1984, and is one of the city’s most notable examples of modern architecture. The colourful structure was designed by well-known British architect James Stirling, and features regular modern art exhibitions and one of Germany’s best collections of works by Picasso.
