Rapper Jay-Z rose to popularity with such albums as Vol. 2...Hard Knock Life (1998), The Blueprint (2001), and The Black Album (2003). He won two Grammy Awards in 2004 for the song “Crazy in Love”, recorded with soul singer Beyoncé Knowles.
